Mathematics is a very important basic science; every student should have a good master. For students, an important purpose of learning mathematics is to learn mathematics thought, to see and to understand the world from the view of mathematics.As a mathematics teacher, I use my understanding of mathematics and enthusiasm to teach them how to "learn" and to "understand", to dig and find new problems, to solve new problems. Pre-calculus and calculus can help us to solve some problems. Pre-calculus is basic to learn other subjects；Calculus is applied more widely in the life.

Pre-calculus contains some basic function, matrix, sequence, and probability. Calculus contains differentiation, integration, and series of three parts. Calculus is the mathematics of velocities, accelerations, tangent lines, slopes, areas, volume, and arc length and so on; pre-calculus mathematics also deals with velocities, accelerations, tangent lines, slopes, areas, volume, and arc length and so on. But, pre-calculus is more static, whereas calculus is more dynamic.

Pre-calculus give priority to function，from logical view function concept mainly include domain, range, and corresponding laws, as well as the function of monotonicity, parity and periodicity, symmetry properties and some special functions, such as: exponential function and logarithmic function, trigonometric functions， which is the basis function. From the perspective of relationship, not only the main content of the function between the various substantive contacts, function and other high school mathematics content also has the close relation. The root of equation can be used as the graph of a function and x-axis intersection; Inequalities solution set is the function of a portion of the graph on the axis of the abscissa collection; Sequence is defined in the natural number set function. AP-calculus is given priority to calculus, and the object of study is the function.

Mathematics learning process is a process of accumulation. According to learning mathematics, students will learn to find connection between pre-calculus and calculus, and understand mathematics more carefully.
